Appreciation of an asst coach nobody gave a chance isn't near as bad as constant need of validation that LF7 is better than Henry. I've never seen so much arse hurt bc a player didn't win the heisman....wait yes I have, from the collective LSU fan base when mark Ingram won the heisman over the Stanford kid

Kiffin has turned Blake Sims and Jake Coker into championship QBs when neither will be on an NFL roster next year. LSU fans would give their left nut for him.

Gotta agree here... He and Saban are NOT scared to try something NEW.. They put in plays during the weeks of regular season games after looking at film of the other team that exploits their weaknesses... Cam and Miles just will not do this... IMO Miles plays scared because he doesn't have enough confidence in his QB'S... Its a chess game and a game of Fooling the other team... Sure Bama tries to smash you but I saw some plays tonight that I hadn't seen them run all year... They were just basic plays but they were plays MSU hadn't seen on film......

I have to say at the first part of the game, I was thinking what the hell but then he knew what he was doing. He really did have a masterful plan. Coker made some incredible passes to make him look pretty good too but all in all, he used Henry just when he needed him.

He is a sharp guy and you can't dispute that. Saban was no fool hiring him. I'm sure Saban set boundaries for Kiffin not running his mouth etc but Saban knew he needed Kiffin and nobody can argue the success he brought to Bama.

Ummm........I think you are wrong friend. Alabama's defense & D. Henry turned Jake Coker into SECC QB.

Kiffin called a great game last night and he's done well this season.

Making Michigan St. defense run sideline to sideline at the beginning of that game was brilliant. DL & LB's have to run 15-40 yards a play when you throw quick outs to the sideline. Running Henry right into their defesive strength wouldn't have done all that! I'm not crazy about that kind of offense, but against a defense like Michigan St. has. That was the right strategy because all the extra running Michigan St. did had them gassed in the 2nd half. Plus, those easy passes got Coker into the zone he had to be in last night.

He went to his dream job. And I guarantee he wants to get back in the head coaching ranks ASAP. You're ignorant if you think he won't jump ship at his first offer.

Lane Kiffin is a great offensive coach.

I never hated him for the way he left UT. The guy was just trying to live his dream.

I do however, forever hate, Derreck freakin Dooley.
