I think they are butt-hurt.

ETA: They also forgot Oklahoma lost a BCS title game in 2008.

Meh.

2009 Alabama and 2010 Auburn needed no luck.

The teams with losses (Florida and LSU both times) needed a little bit of luck but were still the best teams, as proven by the games.

Sh*t runs both ways though - ask 2002 UGA (12-1 coming out of SECC game) and 2004 Auburn (13-0) about luck.

So he kind of is in the general vague vicinity of having a point.

But not really.

The SEC has won the games they needed to win, but there are things that SEC fans will repeatedly dismiss.

Like the fact that during the SECCG in 06, Danielson kept saying how much better the SEC teams were than the Big X teams, then 4 of those teams he spoke of met in bowl games and the big X was 2-0 in those games (PSU beat Tenn and Wisky beat Auburn? I think).

The 06 game was the only absolute blowout. 08, 09, 10 all were close games that could have gone either way (I didn't think there was a huge disparity in the teams playing even in the 4th quarter)

Well, is there a NCAA rule about blocking kicks? We also needed Dareus to knock Colt out of the title game.

Don't even try to say the 38-24 arse whooping we put on ya'll was close in the 08 championship. We totally milked the 4th quarter away after it was 38-17 earlier in the 4th quarter. Only a homer could say that game could have "gone either way". We could have easily put 2 to 3 more touchdowns up if we don't let up on the gas as running up the score is not usually Miles style. Unless of course you piss him off like Georgia Tech did in the Peach Bowl.

Agreed bigbowe80, that was an arse whooping. My former partner is a huge OSU fan and even he admits that game could have been really ugly if Miles doesn't shut it down. Once LSU got rolling it was brutal.

nothing like an LSU fan to jump all over it. Did I mention the 07 championship game at all?

The reason I didn't is because LSU fans all call it a huge blowout. In the game, it was 24-10 at the half, LSU got the ball, went 3 and out. OSU backup LB absolutely whiffs on the punt and hits the kicker. Talk about a play that ended a season. He blocks the kick (If you look back at it you won't even be able to understand how he misses it) and OSU is at like the 10 and the game isn't a blowout. LSU was better, and OSU fans can admit that, but without 06, 07 doesn't get called a blowout

1) LSU scored 31 points in 19 minutes of football..it wasnt a matter of "if"..it was a matter of "by how much".

2) Miles totally outcoached Tressel as signified by our Tight end running free to the endzone right by your "AA" linebacker ...TWICE!!

Oregon in 2010 needed a false start by Cal's kicker.

I can't exactly remember the quotes or bother to find the links but basically, there was some quotes by the GT coach and players in the week before the game talking about how they were dissapointed in the matchup that they didn't get a better challenge and that they deserved a better team to play or something to that effect.

Let's just say I've never seen Miles continue to pound a team as much as he did in that game and I absolutely loved ever second of it. Even more than the Virginia Tech game, this one felt personal.

And Oklahoma needed some new rules implemented by the Big 12 just to make the Big XII championship game instead of Texas or Texas Tech in 2008.

Nah you didn't mention it, but you also said that. But your right now that you mention it, The 07 Championship was more of a "friendly take -foot-off-gas asswhooping" instead of an "absolute blowout".
