This is the guy that had the balls to ask Butch about this in the press conference yesterday.

quote:

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee coach Butch Jones was involved in what a source called a “physical altercation” with an offensive lineman during fall camp. Jones called the allegations “absolutely ridiculous” during his weekly Monday news conference, but a source close to the program said Jones and senior offensive lineman Mack Crowder were involved and that the incident was captured on the practice film that day.

quote:

The incident occurred during fall camp, about the time that news started to come out about a few offensive linemen who were considering stepping away from the program. Crowder walked off the practice field one day and missed a day or two of practice, and Brett Kendrick and Dylan Wiesman were said to be contemplating their futures. Sources say the players’ actions stemmed from an incident between Jones and Crowder.

quote:

The Knoxville News Sentinel asked Mack Crowder’s father about the situation Monday, but Michael Crowder said he didn’t want to comment and give validation to message boards. A Freedom of Information request was made to the university about any correspondence with the Crowder family, but administrators said any sort of letter or correspondence that may or may not have happened was covered under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

If this gives us cause to fire him without a buyout, this would be the best thing that's happened to this university since 98 besides firing Dooley.

We would be able to get rid of Hart and Jones in one move

Yeah, this is total bullshite. I'll just continue to laugh at the situation here in K-town.

Talk radio here is beyond hysterical.

If there was video evidence of a coach fighting a player we would all have seen it by now.

If the Vols couldn't hide Peyton putting his balls on co-eds, they sure as hell aren'y going to be able to hide Butch punching out a player.

Imagine if Tenn was unbeaten right now, I bet this story doesn't see light of day.

College athletics going the let's find something to fire him on to avoid buyout.

Knoxville News Sentinel must be on the payroll.
