Why? Because they picked a team thats actually won the West TWICE this decade?

And what does that have to do with this season?

LSU won the SEC and went to the playoffs last season. Oh wait, that was just Herbie's pick
but what about when he picked alabama to win the sec in 2014?

At least he didn't pick them to win the East.

How many people on this board will shat themselves when Gus puts a beatdown on Dumbo next weekend?

I'm just using logic and process of elimination off of JJ and the documentary. It's pretty obvious.

Yeah I'm not sure if you really believe that, but I don't think ESPN is in trouble form a ratings are financial standpoint. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

Is this the same Kirk Heirbstreit picked some Auburn guy as the preseason Heisman winner last season?

Good luck with that.

e also picked AU to win the west last year

But not as a sleeper pick. AU is much better as a sleeper.

Who else is he going to pick? UA, LSU and Ole Miss can't be considered sleeper picks. That leaves aTm, AU, and Ark (Sorry MSU, nobody's picking you). Between those 3, AU has had some recent success.

Appearing on ESPN Radio’s Russillo and Kanell, Herbstreit revealed the four teams he has making this year’s College Football Playoff: Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State are locked in, and he’s close to certain on TCU being the fourth team.

I do expect Auburn to be better than they're projected. I can't see them going 6-6.
8-4 isn't crazy, and I think they beat somebody really good. I'm nervous about our game in Jordan-Hare. Their defense will keep them in some big games

Man, Fowler and Blackledge would be so much better for the GOTW... Put Herb in Brando's old job and cut his pay.
