Kirby Smart didn’t take to kindly to Butch Jones complimenting his team.

Now that he's flapped his wings and left the nest let's see what he does. I'm not sold on him, but looking forward to keeping up with their season.

Smart laughed a bit, considering he's been critical of his team at times since assuming full-time duties in January. Throughout the spring, Smart mentioned a need for Georgia to get bigger up front on both sides of the ball.
So Smart publicly disagreed with Jones' assessment on the Bulldogs at this stage of the offseason.
"Since Butch came to none of our spring practices, I don’t know how he would be able to say that," Smart said with a smile.
