If they had even the slightest bit of awareness, they would have already hired Fuenete from Memphis. Kirby or Lane will leave Columbia the moment they build up enough respectable success.

Both would suck
Up and comers like Fuente, hermon, Morrison etc are a better way to go then hot shot coordinators

I feel like Tanner would line up an "interview" with Kiffin just so he can fart in his hand when Lane goes in for the handshake.

Not a big enough job for Lane. Would be a perfect head coaching gig for Kirby's first job. Kiffin may take over at Alabama when Saban retires and that would be a great hire in my opinion. He is an offensive genius. He had UT turned in the right direction in his 1 year there and nobody could have handled the USC job with all of the scholarship problems they had from the sanctions.
I hope he is at Alabama once Saban hangs it up which will be in the next year or so.

The only way Kiffin leave Bama for USC is if he thinks the job is in Columbia, South AMERICA, not Columbia, South Carolina...
