quote:

“I see a lot. I think with Kyler’s dad, Kevin, who was a great player there, you can tell he’s worked with him on mechanics and footwork since he was walking, it looks like, and so I think he’s farther along as a passer. He still has a unique ability to extend play, and he’s really fast. When he takes off, nobody’s catching him. But I do think he’s farther along as a passer than Johnny was. Johnny just had that unique mystique and fearlessness that made him special. But I expect great things out of Kyler Murray out in Aggieland. So you should feel good about that one.”

Better passer and faster?

Not hard considering Johnny isn't a great pure QB. Good athlete but he was never known for airing it out and being a great passer. More like throw shite up and let Mike Evans catch it.

Johnny Manziel had 2 of the worst games in his life against perennial bottom feeders in the SEC. Not that good of a passed unless it's Alabama for some reason.

Is he a diva like Johnny? Kyler won't like sitting on the bench behind the current GOAT A&M QB

OK? Manziel wasn't great because of his passing ability.

Manziel was a great passer his second year. He had a higher completion % from the pocket than Luck.

Flame on tho

Manziel completed 73 percent of his passes from inside of the pocket this season, best among quarterbacks from BCS automatic-qualifier conferences (AQ conferences) and up four percentage points from last season. He completed at least 65 percent of his passes from inside of the pocket in every game but one this season.Jan 8, 2014

Kyler is further along than manziel was his heisman season as a passer, but not as good as Manziel as a RSsoph.

I completely forgot that they played in the exact same offense.

In all honesty, even though we lost both games against him, the 2012 and 2013 Ole Miss-A&M games were classics.
