Kiffin's College Coaching Reputaton spreading ...

Tonight Houston sports talk radio 610 called him a buffoon and described the entire ordeal with CUM and Florida on the radio and talked of the SEC commissioner accusing Kiffin of not knowing the rules by stating, "We expect our coaches to have an understanding and knowledge of conference and NCAA rules."
Unfortunately, he didn't say anything about the recruiting infraction/spat with Spurrier, the embarrassing termination from the Raiders or the underhanded recruiting philosophy practiced so far.
What a disaster he is for Tennessee.
Guess U Tenn won't be making any inroads into Houston with their recruiting.

This incident should have happened before Feb 4th, that would have hurt him and Tennessee a lot

Sounds like you are speaking from personal experience.
Kiffin opened mouth and inserted foot. I'm sure he will do better when he matures a tad and I'm sure his maturing process will start with the beginning of next year's SEC season.

I think it's sucks that Tennessee fans have to try to defend him now. I remember feeling embarassed when Les called out the Pac-10 as weak, but then he turned out to be totally right so it was okay. This is worse for the Vols, though. This dude is a bonefied dick bag.

They aren't just defending him. Go look at Vol Nation. They think he's the greatest thing ever because of it.
Like it's going to somehow put up a deflector shield that's gonna save them from getting fifty points hung on them.
Hell, they'll be lucky if that's all Fl hangs on them this year now.

I really hope y'all are prepared for the skull-fricking you're going to receive next year in The Swamp. Hell, Ricky Jean had a comment completely blown out of proportion, UF took it and ran with it and put 50 on his like we were a high school team. Oh, they return a ton on both sides of the ball too so good luck with that.

he's very cocky. however, i think what he is doing is a positive thing if you are a tennessee fan. their program has been sleeping for a little while and he is waking them up. so, smart, no, necesserry, yes.

how can you be a Tennesse fan and even feel remotely comfortable that this knucklehead is not going to completely embarrass the program. He has no credentials whatsover and is a whinny, finger-pointing cry baby. You can tell he worked with Petey Carol.

True. But he violated one of the primary rules of starting a new job, meeting new people, etc. "You never get a second chance to make a first impression." This was his first shot at national exposure as coach of the Vols (admittedly, his behavior turned it into such a spot). He is now in the position of having to demonstrate that he isn't an idiot and a buffoon. Maybe he will. But why start your climb up the mountain by digging yourself into a hole?

This f__king kid just called our coach a cheater! And he brings that ragtag bunch of creamsicles into the Swamp Sept 19 and it will be an epic beatdown ...60+ might be put on his azz.... those hillbillies will be screaming for his head after the game. Open mouth..insert giant d_ldo Laney boy.
