Take it for what it's worth but his last four follows on his Twitter page are Ole Miss accounts.
Stole this from Barrett Sallee.

Is it happening??????

Yep, Ole Miss is firing a philandering rule breaker and hiring Lane Kiffin to clean up his mess.

Uhhu.

I thought Kiffin at first but the more I think about it, they almost have to do like Baylor and go in the opposite direction.

Kiffin as a fit makes no sense. The Ole Miss coach needs to be a GOB glad-hander at minimum.

Kiffin is socially-awkward.

Kiffin. Because in the situation Ole Miss finds itself, it needs the type of man Kiffin exemplifies:

- rock solid family values
- proven track record as a head coach
- the patience to see difficult situations through no matter how difficult
- mature
- weighs his comments carefully before speaking
- has the deep respect of players, fans, and the entire coaching community
- is whiter than sour cream

Yep. Gotta be Kiffin

It would take a moron to leave a HC position to go to Ole Miss, where at this point it isn't certain they'll even have a program in the foreseeable future. He just may be their guy.

I would like to imagine a young up and comer going to Ole Miss. But I think a situation more akin to Alabama when they went on probation is likely. Mike Shula, com'on down...!

Can you realistically see Ole Miss football being shut down?

After all, SMU & Baylor are still functioning. Are the things that happened at Ole Miss any worse?
