How will Alabama and LSU fans feel when Kiffin ends up at LSU and Blake Barnett starts his first game in Oct?
Will Alabama fans feel slighted and nervous for the game in Tuscaloosa?
Will LSU fans feel like they're getting retreads?
This is the one possibility I haven't heard from either side.
What say ye?

I would expect Bama to get at least 2 interceptions against LSU.
I wouldn't care beyond that.

Many speculated that the only reason he ended up at Alabama was because of Lane.
He was committed to USC until they fired Kiffin. Then when Lane became a consultant here, Blake committed.
Many have believed that Kiffin wouldn't stay at Alabama beyond 2 years, 3 max. So when Blake lost out to Jalen and transferred out - my first thought was he would end up wherever Kiffin moved to as HC. No one ever thought Kiffin would leave on a lateral move.

A 5 star red shirt sophomore that has spent 2 years under Kiffin's tutelage versus Harris or a true Freshman?
Before you say he sucks, I say he hasn't had enough game play to prove he sucks. Remember Jalen Hurts first snap as a QB in college was a fumble.
How many Alabama fans screamed "WTF? This kid sucks, put Blake back in."?
Just because Hurts beat Barnett for the job, doesn't mean Blake sucks.
Tim Tebow started over Cam Newton at one time too.

I remember when Bama fans blasted me before the season when I said Barnett wasn't any good and Hurts was by far the best QB on the roster. I still feel the same way. The only way Barnett will have a successful college career is if he decides to play for a team with one of those Mickey Mouse spread offenses in a conference that doesn't play any defense like the Big 12.

No. He left four games in to the season. If he graduates from the JuCo he's at, which he will, he can return to FBS play on the 4th of Oct.

He was committed to the Fighting Irish, decommitted and committed to Bama. If he was committed to USC at one point, it was far far before I started following his commitment. Oregon was big on him as well.

I just would rather have the kids we have committed. Nothing against BB.
