Haven't seen this posted anywhere but the kid looked really underwhelming last Saturday night. I thought he would probably be an x factor in the ole miss game, but he had a fumble and ended up with only 3 yards an attempt on 11 carries.

Bama fans - Do you think he lost a step or two after the injury last fall and just hasn't recovered or what? (IDK Part of that may have to do with the extended use of Henry too?)

I thought he looked good against Wiscy.

He looked a step slow and not as explosive as last year. Understandable when you have as severe a break as that was. You tend to protect yourself from that happening again.

Ole Miss played him physically and took him out of his game. Thought that was just good defensive strategy and execution.

Why do bama backs so often have fumble problems?

OM had a great defensive plan for Drake.

Didn't watch the game but I had heard that as well. That's probably why I was expecting a better showing for him against us

Pretty much. The Landshark D is pretty salty.

How many fumbles do you think the running backs had at the line of scrimmage?

What did we do to gameplan against Drake?

Not trying to be a smartass....I didn't really pay attention enough to see our defensive strategy.

He and T.J. are they only one to have them. Mark, Trent and Lacey were solid.

Bama recruits players like that so they can use the excuse that only Bama can beat Bama.

Like I said, he carries the ball like a valley girl swinging a purse on a Saturday night at the mall.

He fumbled twice, didn't he?

Stewart Bama's other kickoff returner had the only other fumble of the night I believe

Really played him tight and physically. He wasn't allowed to get in space a lot, which is where he's really dangerous. He was surrounded/contained and attacked quickly every time he got the ball.

At WR, they were physical at the line of scrimmage to mess up his rhythm with the QB.

Mainly just solid execution and tackling.

Not that it is much better, but it was 33 yds on 11 carries.

A couple of times he slipped but yeah, not his best performance. Especially not like the game he was having last year before injury.

He was basically met behind the line everytime he got the ball on Saturday. So many missed assignments on the our Oline.
