Unless you are a Kentucky fan and watch every game each season, you usually forget how good their normal one and done type guys were outside of the obvious Anthony Davis types.

DeAaron Fox is really one of the better players I can remember watching and for some reason, he stands out to me over the John Walls and Devin Booker types but admittedly it's hard to remember one season guys. So Kentucky people, where does he stand with all the other studs of the Calipari era?

Right below KAT and AD. My second favorite player in the Cal era behind Tyler Ulis.

Monk is the better shooter. Clearly booker is the best shooter Kentucky has produced though.

Booker is a much better shooter than Murray.

Better but not much better. Numbers are very similar. They are both really good shooters.

Is there any chance Monk stays another year? He clearly is extremely talented but his game doesn't look like it's NBA ready IMO

Booker was and is an amazing shooter. He also had way more help on his college team that undoubtedly made things easier on him. I'm not sure if you put Towns and Cauley-Stein and Lyles on Murray's team that he doesn't shoot a higher percentage than Booker did.

he will go high based on his ceiling. How many of their freshman may go. I don't see more than 2 or 3. Or am I missing something.

I think you're right. Monk, Fox, and Bam leave. Big question is if Briscoe leaves. His draft stock isn't great but he never expected to stay more than one year. May be a similar case to the Harrison twins where they left after two years despite poor draft stock.

Just to show how stacked this draft class is, he's going to be the 3rd PG taken most likely. Probably in the 5-7 range overall.

I think he's a top 3 prospect though.

Does Monk seem like a taller Louis Williams to anyone else?

Fox is the best PG since Wall at UK, and he's more athletic. His driving to the basket relentlessly in the tourney is why UK is playing for a spot in the final four.

You are only saying that about Booker because he hit 70 points against the Celtics recently in the NBA.. At Kentucky, Jamal Murray was the best shooter.

he's going to be a star

I compared him to Rondo on here, and actually he's better than Rondo was at the same age, easily
