I'm going to be in Gainesville that day for the UT/Florida game, hope to get out of there and to a place to watch the 2nd half at least.

Owell ... it's what the players voted to wear. I don't like it - blackout is bad luck - but all we Gamecock fans can do is hope the jinx is broken.

Blackout doesn't seem smart early in the season but I'm not sure what the temps will be at game time.

There's been virtually no differnce in your classes and ours for the last couple of years. The talent disparity just isn't there. It'll be a good game no matter who wins. I'm banking on us winning #4 in a row though.
I'm of the opinion that if Muschamp couldn't win at Florida, with all of the talent and resources that he had available to him there, he can't win at South Carolina.

You are so wrong. Don't you think that maybe...just maybe...those of us around the program might know a tad more about how we have developed our guys compared to those that know nothing about us except where we finished in recruiting rankings and the stars assigned to our recruits? Jake Bentley was supposed to be a senior in high school last year. We didn't start winning till we pulled his red shirt. And even then, he wasn't as prepared as he is this year. Nowhere close. The kid has been spending the night at the stadium studying film. And we have Coach Wolford back again with our OL. He was the impetus for how our OL performed beginning in 2009. Keep overlooking and underestimating us. A lot of ppl are gonna be surprised this year...in a bad way for them and a great way for us.

Aren't you making similar assumptions about our team and talent? We return almost everyone from a team that beat you last year. A team that was a few freak plays away from winning nine games in the regular season. We've plenty of talent that is either ready to start now or was redshirting or injured last season. In our 3 worst years. Congrats. We have a QB now. Don't know if we will win, but I feel better about our chances than Kentuckys.
I like Kentucky. Good fans. Always root for them when they're not playing us. If y'all do beat us and we're not in position to win it ourselves, hope you win the East.
