Kid looks really talented for a freshman, he could be one of the leaders in SEC rushing after he takes on this injury laden Missouri D. Is he the he full time starter now? Was his emergence unexpected?

It was unexpected in that no one really had him pegged as surpassing JoJo Kemp at this point, but the coaches had been raving about him since he arrived.
I love the way he runs, and I think he provides a nice compliment to Boom Williams' big play ability. The two of them, with the way our offensive line has started to play, are a great combo. All that said, I still think I'd consider Boom the starter as of today.

3* Vince Morrow recruit from Ohio. He was a top 50 RB out of high school, rushing for a bit over 2,000 yards. He had offers from BC, and Iowa too I think.
I think Gran goes with whomever is hot at the time. Between he an Boom, they do well sharing the snaps. They are completely different runners. I love Benny's strength - he runs through people for extra yards.
I think he is definitely option 1 for the Wildcat offense, and the future number 1 option at tailback going forward after this season. He and Boom are just too good a tandem to not allow both situational snaps at strategic times in the game.

Yeah the concern with him in high school was that he was too slow. That hasn't proven to be a problem.
I think he picked up a bunch of late offers from better programs though.

IMO his biggest benefit is that he's a different runner than Boom and Kemp in that he runs hard and gets a good amount of yards after initial contact. Both Boom and Kemp are speed/edge guys with that extra burst once they get out of the backfield and he fits that bruiser role. He'll split reps as he has been (Kemp has had some injury issues this season BTW) but I look for them to go to him more in "must get" yardage situations since he's such a strong runner.
As others have said, it's been a surprise how quickly he's come on. I think most of us would say if Morrow showed that much interest in him, there was definitely something there. I just don't think anyone expected it until later. But if he can stay healthy, he's going to be a great RB.

Stoops said all Benny does is come to school and to play football, there's no bs from him.when I first saw his rivals picture he looked young and skinny.
Coach gran says he reminds him of ruddy Johnson. If he's anywhere close to ruddy we've got one hell of a running back.
Kentucky should have had a boom/Harris combination then a king/Snell combo.Kentucky will be ligit running the football for the next 4 years.
They will be tough as nails with gran calling the running game.

Yes.
1. Boom-imo could leave 2016.
2. Snell
3. Jojo-will leave in 2016.
4. King
5. Horton-which is why he transfered.
