I cannot tell what Coach Calipari was so upset about that led him to being thrown out the game?

Ref did not like Cal's tie and his wife had picked it out as it was valentine's weekend. Cal, being italian, rushed to defend his wife and got ejected.

Thanks for the responses. I was getting confused because it appeared he had got upset after a foul was called on a South Carolina player and then the second foul followed immediately. Later last night I saw a technical called but it appeared in the 2nd half, now I realize it was from an earlier game between the two schools.

Oh and I just checked the box score. Kentucky was whistled for one more foul than South Carolina. Sell that shite somewhere else. When you get an even number of calls on the road, you should shut the frick up and say thank you.

The tech came in the first two minutes of the game and Sirmons officiated the Kentucky vs. Kansas game where the disparity was massive (even for a home game for Kansas). It was clear that Sirmons was going to set the same tone he did in the previous game.

What it boils down is Cal got the initial tech and Sirmons gave no explanation. When Cal walked to the scorer's table and asked why, he was tossed. Sirmons is a massive pussy who can't handle someone calling out his shitty officiating.

I don't know any other coach who wouldn't question a ref who gives him a tech in the first two minutes of the game with no explanation.

But you've been bitching about Cal in multiple threads over this, so I doubt any of that changes your opinion.

Sirmons himself went on to call two additional technicals in the game after the first two:

- One on Briscoe for slamming the ball after Murray's big dunk, which is obviously textbook and deserved.

- Another on a South Carolina player that, I think, smacked the ball out of Briscoe's hands after the play stopped. Personally, I don't think it was needed and a warning could've sufficed.

So Cal is upset that he is not getting calls on the road? Glad none of the other coaches ever have that happen
And that's why your coaches are losers and Cal is winning at a clip on par with Coach Rupp. What he did was brilliant.

He is a constant whiner and was treated properly by the refs. I don't have a problem with it, but the UK fans seem to. I think his behavior speaks for itself. I'm sure your opinion won't change either as all you do is defend him regardless of his actions and draw him up as being picked on. Thanks for keeping up with my posting habits, I am definitely a critic of Cal as I think he is a poster boy for what is wrong with college athletics, but I have also given him credit for his coaching when it merits it.

Yep and a lot of other SEC fan bases who are over prima donna officials making it about themselves. At least that's been the general consensus I've seen, not just here, but elsewhere.

My only regret on what did was that he left the court too quickly after getting ejected. Didn't get his money's worth.

Just read that the official Sirmons was also the ref that made questionable calls in the Kansas game 2 weeks ago and the Final Four loss against Wisconsin last year.
