Gotta say, if Chavis didn't yank him after those, I might start to see where the disgruntled LSU fans are coming from. It's not the late hits that concern me, it's the absolutely abysmal tackling form. Coaches like Saban and Champ would have torn him a new one and made him run bleachers for those "tackles".

Saying he bounty hunted Henry is kinda a slight. But a hilarious one, so we are cool with it.

But the point of the thread is dumb. Who cares if Evans can hit hard. Every SEC team has hard hitters. Who gives a damn about that, if his form is terrible. Ask a Bama fans about Rod "Make 'em say Woooh" Woodson. He might've been Saban's hardest hitting safety. But he never learned to wrap up, barely saw the field, and eventually transferred.

Hitting hard can make a huge impact late in the game. But if you let a rb go for 150 in the first quarter, him being tired in the fourth is almost always irrelevant.
