Just to calm your nerves about the new arena and the basketball program -

I was in the athletic department when the talks were made about the new arena. It was no secret that it was being built solely as a recruiting tool for the university. Not necessarily football, but it was part of the process of transforming the entire campus into what it's nearly become today.

Anyone that went to school there prior to 2008 knows what I'm talking about. The dorms are different. The rec center. The indoor practice facility. Some of the streets were closed for pedestrians only. The engineering building. The new science buildings. The new swimming facility. And also the arena.
