Bammers: If he takes the Carolina job is he throwing away a possible chance to coach the Tide?

Bammers: What do y'all really think of him as a coach?

Bammers: Can he recruit at Carolina?

Bammers: If he takes the job, do y'all know of any Bama staff that he might bring with him as coordinators?

Dawgs: Should he come to Carolina and do well, will y'all be coming after him?

He's way too damn good of a coach to settle for South Carolina. That's about all I know.

Not if anyone believes today's news. I knew he was the front-runner until this morning.

Sure, why not? If we're in the market in the future and he's doing well at that time, I would imagine we would pursue an alumnus.

If he comes to scarolina he more than likely will take Scott Cochran with him, at least that what bol says.

Don't be surprised to see Jeremy Pruitt follow him, assuming staff dissension rumors at UGA are valid. They are very close.

Why is that?

I've always seen him as muschamp only he never left saban's side

He can't possibly be as clueless as muschamp was on offense but still first time as a head coach he's a risk for sure

No, if anything if he is successful at south Carolina that will increase his chances.

Really good coach, makes great adjustments. Loved by his players, obviously great with lb.

Nothing leads me to believe he can't recruit there. But like anyone else needs assistants in the area.

Cochran and don't be surprised if he nabs Pruitt. Everyone else is loyal to saban.

No way to know at this point. Would depend on how he does at USCe, and when Saban retires. My best friend was privy to a conversation involving Paul Bryant three or four years ago...before Mal Moore died...where Bryant spoke of a plan to have Saban ease into a HC/AD position for a year and transition Kirby to HC. That doesn't mean Saban would do it...but it's what Bryant said he and some of the BOT hoped would happen.

Absolutely love him. Great coach, players love playing for him, lots of energy, and a family guy that will never do anything to embarrass your program.

Always rated as one of the top recruiters in the country. He can recruit on Mars.

God, I hope not. Except for Bobby Williams. Hopefully he takes Williams as special teams coordinator.
