Knew he would be an NFL star, but hasn't happened. Wrong team, personal probs, what? Eddie Lacy stole his star

For whatever reason it just didn't work. He doesn't see holes, doesn't explode through holes and doesn't break tackles.
I gotta say, his NFL career has really shocked me. I was pretty sure he'd be a career solid player in the league.

Yea....I think when he was at UA he used brute strength to move the ball. In the NFL it take vision and strength. He hasn't performed nearly as well as I thought he would. On the flipside Eddie Lacey has performed much better than I ever expected. I guess that goes to show you never know how these guys will pan out at the next level.

I wasted a FFB 2nd round draft pick on him a couple years ago and nobody heard from him since. Frick him.

too many miles on the tires. He carried the ball way too much in high school and the miles added up at bama. Power only gets you so far as well.

He got fat. In fact, the Colts just threw him under the bus for being out of shape.

Apparently, Donald Brown, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Boom Herron didn't have those types of problems running behind that line. I don't think that explains it. Those guys were one ypc better than him.

He didn't really carry the ball that much at Alabama compared to other highly drafted players (same with Lacy).

He got heavier, the holes got smaller, and the defenders got faster.
Thus far he's been a bust, but he has the opportunity to turn it around. He's only 24 years old, so if he can get himself lean and work on his quickness and vision, he'll still have a decent NFL career.

He added too much bulk and his vision was always poor.
