That stretch in the third quarter was fun.

He's going to be good. That freshman WR is really good too. Kragthorpe has done a great job with the offense and imo, is just as responsible for Lsu's dominance to this point. The D was really good last year, but with the O helping out, it's helped it get to the next level of dominance.

I don't wanna be racist, but is it a safe assumption that the black Landrys (ie: Laron, Jarvis, etc from LA) "worked" for the white Landrys (ie: Troy) back in the day? I know some people will get their panties in a bunch over this, but it's history and it'd be very interesting if anyone was able to track the family lines far enough back to see where everyone come from. I wish I could track my family back more than a couple generations, and it seems like many people from LA have roots there for a long long time.

what do you mean wtf? I'm curious if there's a connection between what seems like an abnormal amount of Landrys in the state of LA (don't believe that name is of French/Cajun origin) or if it's just coincidence. I'm sure there are LA history buffs on here capable of answering the questions, although none will probably see this thread/question. I'm interested in US history and curious to know what the connections are. It shouldn't be taboo to talk about stuff like this, it is history afterall. And I'm not stating anything as fact, I'm asking....

I don't know, but that's why I'm asking. I shouldn't have used the word "assumption" in my first post, but it's still a valid question which I think would be cool to know. Let's just pretend for a minute it is true, it just goes to show how far we've come as a country in such a short amount of time. I think I've seen Troy and company wearing LSU hats on their show, so they're rooting on all these guys. Pretty crazy to think how much things can change in just a few short generations.
