As an avid Saints fan, allow me to be the first to say, " the Falcons."
Good luck to JPW, though.

The thing JPW brings to the table is "durability". He's fricking tough. He can no-shite take a beating and pop back up. All you SEC m'f'r's have seen it.... and you know it. Give him some props.... He's not Joe Namath but you know he can take the hits and stay in there. Admit it.

So could Brandon Cox but that doesn't make him a good quarterback.

The difference between JPW and Cox is very subtle. True, both were tough QB's. What separates the two is that Cox was always playing hurt. JPW just seemed to be made of out Teflon or Dragonskin..nothing could make him take a trip to the trainers table.

He can hangout with Jerious Norwood.

how does one agree to free agency with a particular team?

He and his agent probably had somethin set up with the Falcons if he wasnt taken.

Usually a prospect is guided by his agent to go the free agent route when they haven't been drafted by the late 7th round. Sometimes it brings a better opportunity. Basically the NFL team calls their agent, but unlike being drafted, I don't believe there is any guaranteed money.

i'll give him that but he seemed to act a fool whenever he got hit really hard.

He should've tried the niners. They basically have no QB right now.

Maybe JPW can give tough man lessons to Brodie Croyle. Jesus, that guy's the Mike Hampton of football. What limb or appendage has not been broken, sprained or separated on that guy?

I don't think there really is much good to say about JPW's ability to stay in the NFL very long. I'm not hating on him, in my years of watching him play I don't see it.

I guess it is a good thing to be picked up by anyone, but signing with the Falcons pretty much relegates him to practice squad/3rd stringer for as long as he is with the team.
