Too fat. Was going to replace him anyways. Terrible if forced to dribble three or more times.

Sounds stupid to me. He is projected as a late 2nd round pick.

If he didn't believe that he would improve his draft stock it was a good move.

Getting out of the way of the Simmons/Blakeney/Newman pain train, smart move Jordan

Definitely won't, but the NBA isn't going to draft him. He's too short and weak to play the 4 and has nothing close to enough skill to play the 3.

He's only 6'7".

Valid. However, if he could work on his footwork in the post and develop a better jumper, it wouldn't surprise me if he worked himself into the 1st round next year.

Seems like a no-brainer to me. His alternative was being "coached up" by Johnny Jones another year

no

Gonna be a huge loss. LSU's team next season is going to have a shitload of talent at guard, but will lack depth at the big man position. Should be a fun team to watch though especially if Malik Newman joins his boys Simmons and Blakeney.

Will not be drafted and ended the year on a very sharp decline and injury.

He might not get a ton better next year, but he would be on TV a ton more considering we will be pre-season top 10 most likely. That couldn't hurt his draft stock.

Would make for a great teammate to Marshall Henderson.

I thought the same thing about Khris Middleton. Turns out he just needed good coaching. A short three years later he's a starter averaging 15ppg in the Association.

Mickey's best hope at a career in shooty hoops is to get as far away from LSU as fast as he can
