All finalists are present except Peppers.

Should be on ABC or ESPN.

Kevin Sumlin can't read a teleprompter.

It's for the top college player that also exemplified Lombardi-like leadership qualities.

It's now because they wanted to award it near the Lombardi Trophy (NFL), also in Houston, near the same time.

Congrats to JA, but clearly he didn't shop for that tie at Belk's, because it is not a perfect match for crimson colors.

Considering his size, ability to stop the run and rush the QB, his intensity and maturity level he should be the first guy taken at his position.

He should be the #2 pick IMO.

Judging by the finalists the award seems to be pretty meaningless

It is more of an off the field service award than on the field stats award, although it takes both into account.

Why'd they wait so long to award it?

They wanted to give us something to inspire us during this long national nightmare.

I always thought this was a front 7 award.
