I just don't see us being able to keep him. There are many who say he will stay at Bama and replace Saban. I think if he has to go somewhere else first.

I'm OK with UK hiring Kirby Smart, at least he is the defensive mind I've been screaming for. However, I think hiring a coordinator with no HC experience isn't the best thing for UK right now. It's not like Kentucky is a situation you step right into and win quickly. I think UK needs a season coach with HC experience this time around.
Also, if Smart is smart, he will wait for other offers. He can do better.... UK is kind of a grave yard for coaches and he has a lot of years left.
