He throws the ball very well. He ate us up. we won but he had the most passing yards then any QB this year against LSU and had a good day against bama.

True, but it's a different league. The Bix 12 never seems to adjust and would just prefer a shootout. SEC teams learn from mistakes and correct them. Why do you think Meyer kept retiring waiting on that dream job? It's because teams had his offense figured out and he was trying to keep from becoming exposed and losing the opportunity to take over @ OSU.
Will be interesting to see ATM next year with that joke of a schedule. Bama should stone you being that the game is early and Saban will be prepared to take his revenge. Other than that, you have LSU and that's the only threat I see.

As it happens, the Saints are my favorite NFL team. This is a laughable comparison. First, because JFF's mobility defines him.
Brees is an absolute master at being able to go through all of his checkdowns and make a decision is a very short amount of time. He might also be the most accurate passer in the NFL. I've got a serious man crush on Drew Brees. A show called Sports Science compared him to a champion archer from 20 yards a couple of years back. Brees won. I've got part of the show at Brees versus champion archer. From 20 yards, he hit this bullseye ten of ten times. It's just sick how accurate he is.
JFF tends to look at his original receiver and then run if he isn't open, pretty common for a freshman. It seemed to be that he improved on his reads in the 4th quarter, which is a big part of what brought the offense back to life. I love JFF, but there's no way I'm comparing a college freshman to a perennial NFL All Star.

Not even close. Have you seen DB play at NO? He is quick with his passes, smart, and throws darts. Manzell panics and scrambles around and hops like a rabbit and lobs an ugly ball more times than sitting patiently and throwing a bullet for a strike. Completely different player.
Teams will stack the box and contain him next year. Then we will see if he is Drew Breeze if he can pick defenses apart like DB does. Give a lot of credit to ATM's oline too.

We only had one possession in the 2nd quarter. We drove ~60 yards and then turned it over on downs (FGs aren't an option for us because of our kicker).
We didn't do crap in the 3rd quarter.
In the 4th quarter, we had a TD drive, a FG drive, a drive that ended in a missed, short FG, and a few punts. Hardly shut down at all.
