However, I'd find it funny as shite if LSU lost to UF after pushing this game AND they beat Bama. It could cost LSU the west.

I do not think one LSU fan cares or is concerned about this conversation because all what was said is true. Florida should have made an effort to play the game period.
The SEC office never rules in LSU's favor and never will.
Most LSU fans do not care for Alleva and this conversation only helps his job.
No story here and Florida fans should be embarrassed by their AD for the way he handled the situation.

Foley weaseled out, slow played all involved parties until the last minute and gave his team an extra few weeks to heal up. Alleva put his foot down and I the end kept a very important home game in BR. Both men got what they wanted, in the end Sankey looks like a puss.

All this proves is what we knew all along- Foley worked an inexperienced and inept Sankey. Little Jeremy stomped his feet, held his breath and said he was taking his ball home.
Lets face it. Foley is not as smart as SC's AD who was able to play their game vs UGa that same weekend. Foley is the guy who as of right now is 1 of 3 in hiring football coaches after Spurrier. The jury is out on beaver toothed McIlwain.
Sankey's response after this fiasco, labeling LSU as the bad guy, was just his way of deflecting criticism of his being pushed around and bungling of the whole affair.
Speaking of teeth, you know Foley's got a little Bug Bunny dentition going on himself. Must be a Gator thing.

The only thing those e-mails prove is that Alleva and the rest of the AD knew all along that Florida was trying to backdoor into the SECCG, and that Alleva was ready to play the game.
quote:.
If they lose they would lose the east. Their schedule is easier than Tennessee (sic) if they wanted to play we would be playing here or there,” Alleva wrote after Chatelain questioned why Florida would want to avoid a game with the Tigers

How do you know any of that really happened? Could just be message board BS.
You ask people on a message board what the contingencies offered were, then question the info because it came from a message board......
Everyone ignore this moron. He's just stirring shite.

We've never gotten it before, so this isn't exactly scary.
Your school was a bunch of pussies and wanted to avoid the game. The SEC office was willing to go along with you until they caught too much heat from the public and the media, so they too decided to be pussies and told you you had to play the game. There is absolutely nothing to respect about Florida or the SEC office. You are both blaming LSU because you got called out for your attempt to frick us over and it failed. frick you both. You got better than you deserved. And you still have to play the damned game.

Hahaha, dude they are so butt hurt that LSU basically gave them the middle finger after they tried to pull that bull crap.

It's clear UF didn't want to play...every other school in Florida found a way. Beat their arse...

not sure how the messages convey your clown theory?

He is a f'n UForfeit fan what do you expect?
I can't decide whether the 11/5 game v Bama or the 11/19 v UForfeit has me the most chubbed up. To be honest, I can live with the results of 11/5 but the 11/19 game is a must win.
For them to pull what they did and then attempt to manipulate the situation further at our expense the following week, the thought that Alleva forced them into the game that they didn't want at the venue that they didn't want makes me smile.
JA bitched slapped that shite eating grin off of Foley's face. Now Bebe gets to stomp a mudhole in that arse and knock them from SECCG.
That's gonna be a great day!

LSU has dodged more hurricanes and storms than any other team in this conference but always figured out a way to play the games. In 2005, LSU lost bye week and played 11 straight weeks leading to sec title game.
There was no reason for Fla to delay and not have a plan in place when LSU offered to play in BR or to fly in Sunday or Monday to play.
But now LSU had to adjust their schedule that impacted two years of games.
Sure, it was easy for Fla to say the 19th but that put LSU at a huge disadvantage for three road games down the stretch with one on a short week.

Alleva dick slapped Foley and the SEC Front office.
UF fought HARD to keep from playing the game.

Excellent points, but the game IS being played and at your field. Although, we can still make out the snivel..We should all expect this to last at least 3 years.

Wow, what a feeble attempt to turn shite around. The only sniveling is from the Pussy Gators who were afraid to play us and were then told they had to.

If you believe this, then you have to admit that Alleva and your athletic department is utterly clueless. SEC rules mandate that it would be impossible for Florida to "backdoor" into Atlanta. Most fans, including myself, may not have been aware of the rule requiring that SECCG participants play all their conference games, but it's not our job to know. It is inexcusable that Alleva wasn't aware.

Don't be stupid. Florida can't go to Atlanta if they don't play all their conference games.
