Asked during his regular-schedule press conference, "Why are offenses across the country having so much success?" Fisher referred to illegal men down field on run-pass options.

The former SEC assistant coach, who has had stops at LSU and Auburn, went on an 8-minutes rant about the problems facing college defenses.

"The rules are bent for them," Fisher said of offenses. "It's illegal. What you do now on offense is illegal. It should never be a part of football, and I'm an offensive guy. When you can have linemen go 3 yards down the field and it is a pass, something is wrong with that.

"It gives false key reads, and guys are running the ball."

Fisher pointed to one team as a prime example: Auburn.

"It cost Alabama a national championship," Fisher said, referring to the 2013 Iron Bowl, which featured the infamous Kick Six.

Hates offensive progress? Sounds like a perfect option for LSU

So he's conceding that his own team would've lost to Alabama?

The REC must be working on him to keep him from going to LSU so they're stuck with Yaw Yaw

Are they not enforcing that more strictly this year?

Jimbo should worry about his team losing to UNC and getting owned by Louisville instead of what Auburn is doing.

Unless hes trying to use that as some excuse for why they lost to UNC?

I believe Fedora runs a similar offense so it's probably just excuses for the loss

Funny because there are no rules against what they are doing, therefor they aren't illegal. Jimbo comes off as a bitch here.

I was wondering why LSU liked him so much.

It's not illegal, but I do think the rule should be changed to 1 yard. I think that's what the NFL does. I'm a defense fan though.

Jimbo is just losing his shite. Maybe he's salty that he's not as good as we thought he was, and wouldn't get the Auburn job even if Malzahn gets fired. Jumbo is stuck at FSU now, and I think this gives credence to the belief that he'd like a better job.

I can read between the lines on this one. I am Jimbo Fisher, I have been running the same Offense since I learned from Tatter Tot at AU. I have managed to frick up Fl St. I will probably be fired in the next two years, should have gone to LSU last year. I might get fired but at least I don't cheat.

That about sums that shite up.

He's just bringing facts. The more Jimbo can bring to light the better it is for college football as a whole. Fight the good fight my brother.
