He's the president of a university. I am pretty sure he is happy in his current position.

He's the president at Youngstown now and has said he has no interest in ever coaching again.

I'm sure he will play an SEC team at some point.

Should be

He would immediately be the second best coach in this conference if someone hired him

Seems so minor just like the Bruce Pearl BBQ at UT. Looks like the NCAA will hammer you to the cross if you lie to 'em.

It was the lying part that was the kicker not so much what was being lied about.

At the time OSU got busted for it I was like "karma biatches" cause I personally think the evidence on Pearl was provided to the NCAA by an OSU person to help get Craft to OSU. That's my belief anyway cause I instant twitter posts weren't then. Unfortunately, osu bounced back way faster than UT has been able to. Oy...

Depends on how much he loves coaching. And money. An SEC program could pay him much more to coach football than Youngstown State (he's still there, right?) could pay him to be the university president. And there are several SEC programs that would be happy to land him. UT especially, IMHO. Anyone able to rise to the top of a historical blueblood like OSU is likely to care a lot about coaching and his legacy (which he could rebuild if he returned to the coaching ranks.)

For that matter, Tresselball would be a pretty good fit in the SEC. Given that his "scandal" is much less controversial than, say, Briles' scandal, I can see him landing a spot during the next major coaching carousel within the next year or two.
