Is he the second best coach in the conference? What he has done with the misfits Muschamp left is remarkable. It just reinforces what Ive believed for a while, the man is the best big game play caller Ive ever seen. Hope he takes over for Saban when he retires, the man is a winner.

you got yourself a good one gators.

Funny thing is, Nussmeier is calling the plays for UF. McElwain definitely has a hand in the gameplanning/preparation though.

Nuss has been really good for UF.

He wouldn't leave Florida for Bama if he's successful there, and if he's not, we wouldn't want him.

About 4th or 5th. Saban, Miles, Spurrier and Sumlin are better.

Gus 2013. Good or bad, evaluate after 3 or 4 years.

The Florida team is loaded with talent. Needed better QB play and are getting it.

He is an awesome coach and him and Nussmier together calling the offense is a deadly combination.

As to him taking over for Saban when he retires, that will never happen. There is no reason to move from Florida to Alabama. He will put Florida back at championship level football so there would be no reason to leave. Florida is a great place to be when things are running smooth.

I think Dabo may be the next guy at Alabama. He is actually do amazing at Clemson with what he has to work with.

Dude, fricking relax.

Muschamp appears awful. Take him from Florida and they're undefeated. Add him to Auburn and they're inept.

Again, relax.

But we overreacted about Ole Miss and then Florida stomped them so now we're overreacting about McElwain

Need a bigger sample size.

But I think you can evaluate his tenure at Colorado State and make judgment. That's a bigger sample size than 1 season at Arkansas State.

Um, no. Love what he is doing so far, but 5 games in is not the time to make that statement. You've got two coaches in the league that have brought home a 'ship. Those guys are top 2 as far as I am concerned.

It's amazing. Elementary school kids have a better grasp of the big picture than most of the supposedly full-functioning adults here.

Full functioning? Lol stahp.

I would put McElwain ahead of probably half the guys in the league though.
