I feel like you knew there was a joke there and yet you skillfully avoided it. Just like Coach Mac and the positive roids test.

Go Gata.

My buddy just dropped 115 in 12 months. Took him longer. But still worth it.

You really can't do anything until the confirmation is in. They do the initial test. If positive, it is confirmed. Not all positive screening test are truly positive. All screens have false positives. We just don't hear about those because the much more expensive confirmations clear those players.

Sure. And labs are well aware of this possibility and have techniques to mitigate false positives.

A kid should not be suspended from taking something that can be purchased from GNC. If the public can get it legally then it should be ok for the players.

You can get weed legally in Colorado and a handful of other states. Doesn't mean everyone doesn't know it isn't legal federally.

Either way nothing will really come of this except the player will serve his suspension, Florida won't falter that much without him especially in a weak East division. Unfortunately for them though, now the eyes will be on them and probably tested more often than not.

If it really is just an OTC supplement he tested positive for, a year long suspension is bullshite. Hell, MAYBE one game. I still haven't seen what it was. Has that been said and confirmed?

over the weekend on here I made the brilliant observation that McElwain is a 'pyscho jock steroid abuser coach similar to the guy in Wedding Crashers who won't take Florida to the promised land'.

this week his QB turns out to be a steroid abuser.

I can read the stiches on the fastball.

One of the first meetings we had with coaches was about banned substances. They gave all the players handouts, some where over the counter and some were illegal.

They also gave us handouts on things we could take. He had to know what he was doing was wrong.

I didn't play D1, but our test come back pretty quick. Coach Mac had to know for awhile. If an investigation is made on Florida by the NCAA I'm sure this will come out.

You can't knowingly let an ineligible player play and there not be a penalty.

I worked in HR and drug test would come back in less than a week ( and we were cheap).
