McElwain is a fraud, he knew, if it were up to him Grier would be playing

McElwain is pissed that his QB is out, he is mad not that his QB did steroids, but because the rules say he has to be suspended. McElwain knew, and played him anyway.

McElwain is just as guilty here and should get heat as well. If he had it his way he would say "steroids schmeroids" and play Grier. He is a cheater as well.

Shame that the coach has no accountability here.

I'm not sure of what he officially tested positive for, but it wasn't necessarily an illegal substance. Like 90% of supplements are banned by the NCAA. Hell, I had a buddy get a PED suspension from the minors for a creatine!!!! It is ignorance on the person, but I still feel bad for him. McElwain shouldn't receive any punishment whatsoever... you're delusional lol

Well, I am glad that is all cleared up now.

Maybe you are right. But, then again, maybe not. You saying so doesn't make it so. But, we can all sleep well at night knowing that at least you know, and that is all that matters.

So what if he knew the suspension was coming? As of game-time Saturday, Grier was eligible as far as the NCAA was concerned. Mac's job is to win football games. It would have been dereliction on his part if he did not do everything he could to win that game.

The one year suspension is the norm for a first time offender(if he was a first timer)? Just seems a bit much to me. If true seems a lot of players would be getting that suspension. Do you get a warning for the first, second? Is this ruling brought down by the NCAA or the school itself? I am just a bit confused by the length of this suspension.

A kid should not be suspended from taking something that can be purchased from GNC. If the public can get it legally then it should be ok for the players.
