Besides Les Miles of course. The guy is all class, and seems to be a genuinely good guy besides being a great football coach. To get Florida this good this fast doesn't bode well for us. I expect that Florida football will be back to national championship level within the next season or two.

Congrats on a great game Saturday night Florida fans, I predict a bright future ahead for the program!

I wanted him to replace Saban, fantastic football mind, and reportedly a first class person. Gators are set for awhile.

Such a contrast to Muschamp.

One of my biggest fears is that he may leave. I hope we can make him stay, I would have -never- expected to be 6 - 1. Never in my wildest dreams having to face Tennessee, Missouri, Ole Miss and LSU.

We almost didn't bowl two years in a row, and for him to come in and give us a pulse is pretty incredible. We were in a bad way.

Question.

Was Foley's job on the line with this hire?

It seems like he always will find a good one given two tries.

Zook, Meyer, boom, and Mcelwain..

I thought mcelwain was great at Bama.

You guys got a good coach.

I was upset with him about Muschamp, really upset with him. He handled that hire badly, but no, his job was never in jeopardy. The UF Athletic program is pretty stout, but Football I think, has been our trademark for a while. I'm obviously happy to have gotten Mac, and get rid of Mus.

In McElwain's postgame press conference you can see the night and day difference between him and Muschamp. You can see why the players want to play hard for him and why Gator fans like him. He was also very complimentary of LSU and their fans.

Outside of having heart issues, fired, or taking a shot at the pros... why would he leave? Florida is a destination job.

Every interview I've seen has made me like him more and more.

He's a good one. He's in the right place.

There is a vocal minority that doesn't seem to like him, but outside of some major scandal he will never get fired. He worked his way up from the ticket office starting in 1976 and deserves to go out the way he chooses.

Since Foley became the AD in 1992, UF has won 26 national championships in 12 different sports and 125 SEC championships.

Will Fournette and LSU be able to run the ball on Bama? That's the real question.

horseshite.

Only UF coach I ever hated was Spurrier, and that's because he's a redneck a-hole jerk.

McElwain is humble, honest and cares. Whats not to like?

I like he didnt beat us on his maiden voyage, but I expect to trade Ws with him, and have no problem with a classy guy like that.

This is inaccurate. You should be ashamed of yourself.

He forces his players to take steroids.
