Can you say interception factory?

He's going to read that option right to the sideline until he gains some more weight

Marshall was in JUCO as well. But we've got a great QB coach to bring him along

How much does he weigh? He looks tiny

That's really incredible speed for anyone... Let alone a QB. Gus's saving grace it appears.

Read option.
Did I do it right?

Heisman, right? Second QB in a row! You guys know how to develop those QBs!

Seems like a real humble kid, too.

I'd settle for one who can throw the ball forward.

In all seriousness, I was looking at him when he was being recruited, and they had him listed at 180LBS. That's not all that bad for a QB. Is that inaccurate? What is his actual weight?

Brandon Harris doesn't run a 4.28

174 on the roster but he's supposedly gained some weight since. He needs to be closer to 200. Marshall was too small in 2013 and took a beating.

You just need somebody that can keep everyone honest, and not throw the ball to the other team. Protect the ball. I know you think I am crazy, but I always thought Marshall made the offense go more so than Mason.

I agree. Biggest issue with Franklin is size and I think he tends to fumble a lot.
I'd still prefer to see a Marshall style QB in that offense.

Yeah...the SEC can deal out some punishment on a QB....and RB....and just about every other position.
It definitely helps to have the extra weight, but he could probably survive. If he weighed 175-180 three years ago and still weighs close, he obviously has trouble gaining. But then again, you don't have to worry about a Grier (Florida) situation happening to you guys, either.

Now THAT would be a concern. You can't afford to hand the ball to the other team in the SEC. It will get you beat more often than not.
Thanks for answering my questions.
