The credit for the complete annihilation of a once proud USC football team rightly goes to Nick Saban. He fooled them and the media into preparing for Cooper Bateman to run the offense. Master troll.

Lane is getting mad props for raping their defense with two freshman quarterbacks and rightfully so.

Jeremy Pruitt was just as instrumental in the success last night as Lane was. I know he walked into a stacked situation but defenses don't run themselves. I liked his gameplan and look forward to seeing what he has in store for Ole Miss.

Calm down a bit. That wasn't exactly the USCheat of old that you played last night.

Without actual evidence, I have my doubts. Looking at UGA's defense yesterday -- and this isn't a slam on them, they played quite respectably against a respectable opponent -- and Bama's, the only constant for Bama's defense is Saban. You can see the differences in offenses over the course of various OCs, but the defense looks exactly like it did last year. I'd bet anything Saban did a lot of handholding with Pruitt and will do so until he starts to trust Pruitt the way he trusted Kirby.

With all due respect, you have no idea what you're talking about.

Should work well against your offense.

Possibly. But that doesn't mean I'm necessarily wrong. You honestly think Saban would just hand over the reins to Pruitt in his first game as DC at Bama without keeping careful watch? Defense is his baby. Yes, Pruitt was familiar with the system, but he had never had the responsibility of directing Saban's passion all by himself. Why wouldn't Saban do a lot of handholding to start? Any rational HC would. It's not an insult to Pruitt (or UGA, though I'm struggling to see why you're so unhappy with the statement about someone no longer employed there), just a common-sense approach.

Saban wouldn't have hired him if he didn't have faith in him. They share a common defensive mindset. Obviously he's watching him, but Pruitt knows how to coach D- book it.

Also think someone else is being overlooked, without
his great predictions i doubt Bama even scores.
