The freshman cornerback was blind-sided by Texas A&M's Ricky Seals-Jones, who was called for targeting before officials reversed the call. I couldn't find a video of it but the kid was hurt bad. Gus said today that he tore three ligaments in his knee, suffered a dislocated knee and dislocated his shoulder, and is out for the season. Kid was learning and playing great. I feel so bad for him.

For those who saw it, did you think it was targeting? I felt it was targeting all the way.

It was absolutely targeting and Seals-Jones should've been ejected. It was a terrible no-call.

Aggies should be ashamed.

Hopefully he can come back and pick up where he left off. Didn't think it was targeting, just a hard clean block, I'm sure Auburn fans will disagree though

Serious question, how did all that happen from a targeting type hit? Targeting equals head and neck area correct?

Not the first time Seals Jones has been called for targeting. The one against Miss St. stood.

That's what I'd like to know?

I hate the kid is injured and hope he recovers 100%.

Because it wasn't targeting. Targeting would be the auburn player diving horizontal at Kyler Murrays helmet in the same video.

The hit came in from the side with his right leg planted. When Seals-Jones hit Dinson, his right foot stayed in the ground and his leg bent almost 90 degrees to the side. Then he slammed won hard on the upper part of his shoulder when hitting the ground.

Ball carries are not defenseless. But yes, he shouldn't have dived with his helmet.
