One of my Bama friends just texted me that he's getting blasted on Finebaum. Poor kid. Skip Bertman has a great quote attributed to many of his former players: "Son, it's not your fault you can't pitch. I'm the one that recruited you."

I wouldn't be surprised if Hurts doesn't start too many more games at Bama. Tua is going to take his job soon enough.

He got a little wide eyed in the title game going for it all. I think he was a bit reserved and was afraid of losing the game. There are some passes he could have made but threw it away instead of trying to fire something in, which we needed last night.

He will be fine.. kid has no emotions. Just wish we would have let him air it out more on weaker teams to get experience this year. Glad to have him.. he will be a good one
