You know the injuries have taken a toll when your lead off batter gets the start to pitch. He's actually pitching quite well lol.

Andy Cannizaro asked the team "hey, who all can pitch, we need a bullpen." Lmao

I sometimes wonder if you actually follow MSU. You don't even know the issues our pitching staff has.

Andy will have them compete like hell all season whether you have healthy pitching or not. Great hire at head coach.

He is a hitting coach and State can hit just as good as any team but pitching is God awful.

We hit bad pitching just fine. Good pitching shuts us down. Go back and look at the stats.

How's Andrew Mahoney doing? Grew up with the guy but haven't seen state play this year.

He's only pitched a few innings. He got hit pretty bad. But I never base too much on one single appearance.

It was actually a lot worse early on. Got a lot of new faces and most are slowly getting better. I think we will be ok in the hitting dept. It's being so thin on pitchers that scares the hell out of me.

That damned mini me and his "velocity" focused pitching screwed us. It's a rebuilding year. I'll be happy with a tourney appearance. Next year should be back to normal.

Yeah, I see the injury bug has hit the pitching staff. Luckily, the west isn't so tough this year so above .500 in conference is definitely realistic.

I mean there isn't the bevy of elite teams in the west as years past but the only really bad team is Bama.

Arkansas has pitching injuries also. Could it be our new pitching coach we got from MSU? I'm beginning to worry. WE do not know who our Sunday starter is and the SEC starts now. We may suck again this year. Good Luck with your staff MSU fans we are hoping for a miracle in Arkansas.

Kind of like every team. Good pitching shuts every team down. That's why it's "good" pitching.

"Injury Bug"? 7 Tommy John surgeries. Don't catch that bug!
