Who would you rather have going forward?

Eason has been abused by his o-line all year. Dude will prolly never recover from this abuse.

Hurts.

I still believe Eason will do well and Georgia will win the East with him at QB, but Hurts has a higher ceiling.

can hurts really do anything other than run the ball behind the best o line in cfb because if Eason played for mama then he'd put up 4000 passing yards

Can Eason throw the ball? He's missed about 5-6 throws today that are easy timing routes where the WR is open.

Would he though? He just badly overthrew a wide open touchdown pass. Looked a lot like Hurts actually, which prompted this thread.

for Auburn under Malzahn I would take Hurts no question and would really flourish with our offense too.

For Alabama's traditional offense and UGA, I would think that Eason will be better long term everything else held equal. Eason behind a good line could grow much faster than he has but, as of now, I am still not impressed with Hurts' passing skills overall. He does exactly what is asked of him and does it well but that is throwing lots of screens and dumps, not exactly tearing up the mid and long passes.

Eason because he is a much better passer , he is just playing behind a shite OL with bad coaching. Hurts is just a more athletic version of Sims . Eason has a much better chance of becoming an NFL QB then Hurts .

Hurts fits the offense we run best and is less risk. He's a very safe QB for us. Eason needs a real QB coach in the worst way.

Freshman b Freshman. Alabama just has a frick ton of talent this year to overcome the missed throws and Hurts has a lot of poise, confidence, and legs to help him out until he can mature more in the passing game.

Eason may be a better passer, I admittedly haven't watched him much this season. However his stats are considerably worse throwing the ball compared to Hurts.

I get that the teams are not comparable, but Jalen has him by 10% on completion percentage while having a higher average attempt

Yall have not watched Eason this year. Good arm strength terrible awful accuracy. There is more to being a good QB than sheer arm strength.

No one asked who they wanted to have as their QB during probation.

Give me Eason all day. Much better ceiling as a passer. I remember a stat that said something like 45% or Hurts passes were either at or behind the LOS...
