Were are playing Nicholls State. Chubb probably gets like 15 carries at most. What would Arkansas know about developing a QB though?

Against Nicholls state? I'm sure we'll have a good bit of pass attempts.

Chubb should do nothing more than run up and down the sideline for conditioning.

Eason is my greatest fear for the next three years. The kid is legit and WILL WIN a Heisman before he goes pro.

Nichols St. Might as well start the rookie. Chubb will play one quarter, have 150 yards and 2 TDs then Furby will sit his arse down if he has any brains.

That game will be over before it starts.

Starting a true freshman pocket passer doesn't give me a good feeling. If Eason is our best qb right now, then bite the bullet and let him play. But he's very likely not ready and we'll lose about 4 regular season games and have a low probability of winning the east. Tough choice for CKS.

I have Eason as a reserve in my college fantasy fb league. Should I start him over Kizer or Kaaya iyo?

We're playing a bad FCS team, and Eason is far better then Lambert

I'm not really worried about Nicholls St. It's the road trips to Missouri and Ole Miss after that where the inexperience will begin to cause problems. I was hoping that Lambert would win the job because that would mean we had somebody better than a true freshman. But Smart is playing the hand he was dealt.

Kizer vs Nevada is a good play. Will roll up stats unless Kelly decides to get the RBs some work.

This is the right move by Kirby. Eason is a true freshman, but he already has better pocket awareness than Lambert. Lambert would struggle mightily against anyone with a decent pass rush. The next three games are at Missouri, at Ole Miss, and Tennessee. Those are better than decent pass rushes.

Starting a true Freshman show nuff gave Bama and Texas a good feeling........AGAINST GOOD TEAMS. So why not let Eason rip it.
