Allen did flame the team. He was never a leader on campus. Porter's point was simple: that Allen clearly didn't want to put the work in to get better. He quit as soon as he faced adversity. Any claim of the "Manziel culture" (since he wasn't on the team when Manziel was) is a copout to cover up the simple fact that, while talented, he hasn't been, and will never be, a winner.

It is interesting how much LSU fans love Allen and Murray now that they've left A&M and believe their every word without question.
