Tier 1:

Alabama
LSU
Florida

Tier 2:

Georgia
Tennessee
Auburn

Tier 3:

Texas A&M
Ole Miss
Arkansas

Tier 4:

Mississippi State
Missouri
South Carolina

Tier 5:

Kentucky
Vanderbilt

Teams can be swapped in each tier. Curious to see how y'all would set it up, too.

Cheers.

Are we basing this on program overall history, sec conference success, or the programs going forward?

Don't know why I'm even indulging, but if your'e talking abotu all time:

1: bama
2: tennesee/lsu/uf/uga/au
3: om/msu/arkansas
4: uk/vandy/sc

didn't rank atm/mizz based on lack of history in league

I thought this was going to be a troll or overranking UT but it actually looks pretty good.

not really.

There are barely discernible differences historically between uga/uf/au/lsu. You could lump them in any order. To have lsu/uf in the same tier as alabama is simply wrong. I hate to say it, but bama belongs in their own tier. The other 5 of the big 6 all should have their own tier as well, then on down the list.

Just how you see every SEC team today. History and going forward I guess.

Wasn't trying to troll at all.

I was having this conversation with a couple of buddies the other day.

Except that one of those teams isn't like the other when it comes down to Championships (especially recently)

In that case,

Tier 1
Bama

Tier 2
LSU, Auburn, UGA

Tier 3
UF, UTk, A&M, Arky, Mizzou

Tier 4:
OM, USCe, State

Tier 5
Kentucky
Vanderbilt

I think OM and State could both move up to Tier 3 with good seasons this year.

We have more SEC championships than anyone else in that list.

We have the same number of titles as auburn, and if you want to count them the cheap way we have more than florida.
