Actually they're probably fricked up from the miles all the yankees put on them...especially if you're on I-95, which I assume you are (or were). I-26, I-20 and I-77 are pretty bad in/near Cola..lots of work has been done but lots more to do.
Closer to Cola the roads are kinda screwed from the biblical proportion floods we had recently. Well, the lowcountry roads are bad, the midlands are worse..don't worry about the upstate..that's tater territory.

The roads are horrible but South Carolina is probably my favorite state as a whole. Tennessee is great, too, except for Memphis.

West Georgia is pretty bad on I-20. I have family in the that area. Very shitty roads. Even worse when you cross into Bama.

It's almost a compliment. South Carolina > Tennessee. Maybe that's why Vols&shaft appears to have a head on his shoulders as opposed to other Vol fans (see Volnation to see their true kind)

Folly is a great little town but the surfers there are unblackbearable. I lived in West Ashley for a bit then on the Peninsula.
