I am in favor of a name change, but not because someone is offended. Because we have enough Tigers in this conference. Just get a Lion instead. Use the same habitat. Add more hair and less stripes to the logo. Sell a bunch of new merch.

We are thinking about just throwing New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu in habitat and have the fanbase throw rocks at him.

They are renovating Mike's cage as we speak, and the plans are to have a new tiger in place after that is finished.

We are getting a new one in August. The new tiger is already chosen and will no linger go to games. We are redoing the habitat to make it fall under a sanctionary

Well, we were called the Tigers first, a member of the Big 6, and founding member of the conference.
If there is too many Tigers in this conference than the Yankees @ Mizz can change their name.

Actually your Missouri Tigers formed at the end of the Civil War as a militia. The 9th Louisiana Infantry was at the near beginning, with Stonewall Jackson giving us the name Fighting Tigers at Manassas / Bull Run.
