I have not been to CS since the '13 Bama v ATM game. But form the pictures I have seen, KF looks amazing.

I was pretty skeptical that yall would be able to finish everything in time for September, but it looks like yall will meet that date easily, sans the final interior build out of the club/suites. Not sure where yall are in that side of the construction.

Its amazing where construction technology is these days.

looking for tickets to ATM Bama game.

The company that's building it for us during offseasons is very likely to see a flood of business. They've proved twice now that they can upgrade entire sides of a stadium during an offseason, and do it on time without disrupting the season.

Kyle Field looks nice, but too bad I'll never be able to make it to an LSU-A&M game there unless the Ags give up on Thanksgiving matchup when they host.

Check the TexAgs ticket exchange for tix. Better get them early because if you wait when we're good this year, then its going to cost you a whole hell of a lot more.

Didn't the end zone stands and structure shift several inches during the LSU/TAMU game last year? Sounded very concerning.

Not concerning at all. It all moves for every game. It just happen to move the most during sandstorm (thanks USCe)

quote:

“Once we were able to determine it was an absolutely safe structure, we went to (A&M chancellor John Sharp) to say for the comfort of fans, maybe we should stiffen that up a little bit,” A&M system vice chancellor Phillip Ray said in the report. “Go way above and beyond even the level of support we already had there.”

“We’re good,” he said of “Sandstorm” staying on the Kyle Field playlist. “There are no restrictions on this building.”

There was deflection in the south end but nothing structurally worrisome (to the design/engineers). However, to ease concerns of the public, they added some extra bracing and such to reduce movement.

I would prefer they just move it to Saturday. I liked it on Thanksgiving night when there weren't NFL games. But, now that there are, it would be better for the fans (home and visitor) and the atmosphere to move it.
