Tell you what would be funny as hell? Saban hires Miles as an Oline Coach or something and they beat the dogpoo out of LSU together for yrs to come

Is that grounds for firing the winningest coach in school history?
Anthony Jennings being the best QB on the roster last year shows that we having been recruiting them well.
I think having 1 season where we pass for over 3000 yards as a team since 2007 is worth firing someone over.

Even "winningest coaches" fall to the wayside in time. Hell, Saban's last season at LSU (especially his last bowl game) was often a head scratching clusterf**k.
Time will tell if LSU proves to make the right choice. No one's impervious to making bad coaching moves....Mike Price, anyone?

I know this was a troll thread and it's my own damn fault for getting sucked in but try to at least be honest with yourself: if Bama had just gotten blown out 3 weeks in a row, having looked completely incompetent on both sides in all three, and you had a coach who you had no faith could get the program turned back around based on years of offensive incompetence, would you want to keep him based on what he had accomplished 3+ years ago? Les simply isn't the coach he was in 2011. If he were, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Looks like Les has turned it around once before when he had a few down years. Bet the roster is in a similar makeup now. Young team with the majority of the better talent under classman. Looks to have a very good class in the making. Win out and it's a 9(10*)-3 season. Should be better next year due to experience.

No matter what Bama fans can always frick with them over making them quit on their team and best coach. Plus, it means a rebuild with New coaches and more Bama wins in a row.
