Yankee Jewish money made Alabama, the jewel of our conference. No way could Goobers, Gomers and Gumps have done it alone.
South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Bama, Auburn have their share.
Missouri is a Yankee state unless one wants to count Quantrill. and he was from Ohio.
There are loads of Yankee players on all 14 rosters.
It's time to close this topic down.

I have had all kinds. The tomato kind within a 50-mile radius of Chapel Hill is the best. I also like the vinegar-based out of Low Country of South Carolina.
Memphis is good, but a bit too sweet for me. Can't stand the mustard based in S.C.

Rarely will I ever openly disagree with a fellow Gamecock.
But no. They are yankees, we are not. It's who we are, it's who they are..and yes, I am aware that there are family lines that include both.
And for the most part it (Rebel vs yankee) is used as a light-hearted jab on here.
They do the same to us...it doesn't offend me in the least.
Besides, this is tRant. Being referred to as a yankee is hardly the worst word thrown at ppl here.

I get what y'all are trying to say about us being Yankees but that's not completely the case. The state of MO was very much divided. I know by yalls history books, MO was a union state and not divided but those books are wrong. That's why we had so much fighting amongst ourselves. We didn't agree 100% like the other Union States.
Also don't talk bad about Jesse James, he was Robin Hood.
