Talk about what you want, it doesn't affect anything unless the players themselves are looking ahead. But this year will be more of a fight than recent years. Tennessee is a better team this year, and Alabama is still inexperienced and inconsistent.

We should win the matchup. But look at it this way - we have several players who are critical to our team. If Ryan Kelly, or Henry, or Ragland, or maybe even Coker goes down, We're a different ballclub.

Overlook the Viles if you want, I'm focused on TSIO.

The players may look forward to an off week this week, but not LSU.

Yep and we got WKU who is no pushover OOC game. We have 2 weeks to start the smack talk and Bama hate, but until then don't let your meat loaf, Geaux Vols, & Geaux Tigers!

F**K Bama!

And I will add that it's a real rival. Many of the younger LSU posters have zero clue as to what this game means to many in Alabama. It is just as important as the Auburn game. While the LSU game is important in terms of winning the conference, it holds nowhere near the significance that Tennessee and Auburn do when it comes to the hearts of Alabama fans, grads., and players.

I loathe Tennessee football. I hate Auburn.

Roll Tide.

Well they don't let us win 75% of our games in their home stadium so there's that

Tennessee won't blow them out. Bama should be able to keep it within two touchdowns.

Says who? You? You care about USC-UCLA? How bout Mich-MSU? Did you REALLY care about that other than rankings? How bout FSU-Florida? You car much about that? Not really. THe ONLY game LSU has that matters is Bama and ya'll can't stand it because we just don't feel the same.

TSIO means nothing to LSU and to other fans across the country but most rivalries don't. It means everything to the 2 schools and that's all I care about. UT has been here forever. LSU has been here since 2000 with a few spots of relevence mixed in before that.

Look at our overall record with LSU and with UT and tell me who has been the bigger threat over time. Despite what you younguns think, stuff that happened more than 5 years actually does mean something. Ya'll gonna talk about 2007 Florida for eons. It won't mean anything to other SEC fans in 5 years.

Auburn and UT are our rivals. LSU is not. Big game but not a must win for our pride.

Seriously, some of you LSU fans are taking your insecurities to insane levels. This is simply to point out that Tennessee may not be a pushover. I really don't give a flying frick if it's considered a good rivalry or not.

IF our offensive line stays intact and IF we pound the ball with Henry and IF our special teams do not shite the bed again, THEN it should be a blowout. For me, that's a lot of "ifs", but then again, I'm not one of the typical all-knowing fans who can watch two or three games in a season and determine exactly how good everyone is and who will win each game.

My prediction is that we get a mix of all the above, hopefully our line stays intact and Kiffin gets enough of Saban's foot up his arse to exploit their rushing defense, and we win by about 7-10. I wouldn't take the points being given. And God help us if we have to drive down and kick a fg or go to overtime to win it.
