I never thought that someone could catch LSU for the off season championship. All that LSU Arancanadaanaconda coach stuff, all the OOOOmg, Ouchergon, Orangutan coach stuff... but all for nothing.
Auburn is SPRINTING down the stretch to the championship like Secretariat ... and it is a run away ... never seen the like. And three time champ Tennessee? fading back back back, now dropping behind Arkansas, even Miss State.
But Auburn? I vote give them the champions trophy for offseason right now. My only prayer is that the melts to come match the level of the inflation of preseason

the hype is justified as far as talent and potential...coaching is what will cause the melt, and if it does, then we can get a real coach this time

But AU doesn't have the best talent or potential for the playoff.... so that doesn't make sense. Do they have talent and potential yes, is it better than everyone no.

Exactly. I'd say they are maybe 5th in the conference in overall talent behind bama, LSU, Florida and UGA.

Totally agree. If Stidham is at least serviceable then it is 10 wins or bust for Gus and if he goes 9-3 losing to Clemson, LSU and Bama, Auburn fans may still be disappointed. This team should be better than 2013.
