I'm watching the Denton-Ryan vs Denton high football game on espn and it looks like a damn 7 on 7 scrimmage lol. No physicality at all. The linemen don't know how to run block and their qbs don't line up under center. They shouldn't even have but a center on the field to snap the damn ball everyone else should go out for a pass route or play coverge on defense. It's really bad. Texas high school football is soft as frick, and I believe thag the kids that a&m recruits to play in their system are all of these HUNH and spread offenses that just aren't hard-nosed, tough, and physical enough. It's pretty obvious why texas a&m struggles with the physical teams in the SEC after watching this.

OU has the best Oline in the nation and recruits Texas heavily, no problems with handling SEC teams. More like A&M has a soft arse coach and are a soft arse program.

There's a correlation there whether you want to believe it or not. They're just not physical. I believe that has something to do with why texas am gets shoved all over the field against teams like LSU and bama. Even myles garrett got punked the entire game vs our o-line and even our tight ends.

Yes, you are right about that. Texas am is definitely a soft program.

I think QBs and DBs have suffered the most at the hands of the Texas HS offenses. They rarely ever transition to the NFL

It's getting to be like that all across the south and probably whole nation. I say south bc I see it for sure from Mississippi to Georgia.
