Might as well let Brennan start if he shows promise. Etling has no pro aspirations, we won't be contending for anything this year, Brennan has already burned his redshirt, and you may as well start getting him ready for next year when he will be the starter.

Unwarranted hype led LSU to believe they were legitimate contenders with Alabama for the west. This caused them not do the obvious thing at the quarterback spot which is to let your new OC build the offense for the future with the young talent. Brennan will get plenty of reps this year but there is no reason he shouldn't be the guy youre building around this season.
